FAQs
How does hypnotherapy work?
1
Your conscious mind takes a step back so that your subconscious mind can step up to communicate with you. Your hypnotherapist guides the process according to what you need to focus on in any given session. As 95% of your life is recorded and stored in your subconsciousness, that’s where you can find solutions to many of the problems and concerns you face in day to day life. In hypnotherapy sessions we negotiate with the subconscious mind to allow for changes you’d like to make in your life. This process brings about change you are seeking to improve your life. Some of the change you may not even realize you are seeking.
How does Integrative Medical Hypnotherapy differ from Clinical Hypnotherapy?
2
First your practitioner will communicate with your medical team, whether that means only an MD or also other practitioners like physio, psychiatric, accupuncture, etc. Just to let them know their patient (you) will also be working with me. Next, we focus only on symptoms that are related to a medical disease or condition. We don’t cure anything; we help you find solutions to manage symptoms and diminish discomfort.
